Fit As Fiddles Foundation, is the brain child off our founder, Mr. Lee Wall. Over many years Lee has taught over 1000+ children and young adults, from his back garden, to community halls. Many of the children he has taught, have gone on to better things. Many career choices,"and there are many" have been continueing the teachings Lee has taught.
The Fit As Fiddles Foundation, has been set up to help disadvantage children of today, who wish to take part in fitness activities, of which many can not afford to take part. Our goal is to raise funds for this cause, so that every child can at some point in their lives experience the joys of a sporting activity.
It reminds me off a story I was once told:
A fisherman, started out in a small boat, ferrying people across the lake near where he lived. One of his passengers asked "how many people do you ferry in one day" the fisherman replied, "One or Two" he replied, surely you could help many cross this lake if you had a bigger boat? The fisherman thought about what the passenger said. That same year the fisherman, became a captain, in a bigger boat, ferrying many people across the lake, helping the community. The moral of this story is, to help many, think big.
This is what we wish to accomplish, we wish to think big and help as many children and young adults within our community, help, and support the next generation.
